Using Hunch

Hunch provides posture awareness, live tracking sessions, nudges, session history and statistics, settings, optional iCloud Sync, support and subscription features. Hunch requires an iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Free tracking sessions last up to 25 minutes each. Features may depend on device compatibility, compatible AirPods or Beats, camera access, motion availability, notifications, network access, app version and active subscription status.

Hunch is an awareness and coaching tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and must not be used for emergency, safety-critical, diagnostic, treatment, or life-support purposes.

Accountless access

The app does not create a Hunch account or require a Hunch login. Any Apple Account used to download the app, purchase a subscription, restore purchases, or manage billing is controlled by Apple.

Apple App Store licence

The app licence for Hunch distributed through the App Store continues to be governed by Apple's Standard EULA. These Terms of Use supplement rather than replace the Standard EULA and govern the website, support, subscriptions, and related services we control alongside that App Store licence.

Subscriptions

All Hunch subscription purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are billed and managed by Apple. Before you confirm a purchase, the app or Apple purchase sheet displays the subscription name, included benefits, any applicable free trial or introductory offer and its duration and terms, the renewal price, the renewal billing period, the automatic-renewal details, and cancellation details. The applicable trial duration, price, and renewal period may vary by product, eligibility, and storefront; the values displayed before purchase apply.

Hunch Plus includes tracking without the free 25-minute session limit, full session history and statistics, advanced nudge timing, custom sounds and messages, optional private iCloud Sync, and a choice of light or dark appearance, subject to device compatibility and app version.

Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed renewal price for the displayed billing period until cancelled through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation normally stops future renewals while access continues until the end of the current billing period, subject to Apple terms and applicable law. Deleting the Hunch app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

If a free trial or introductory offer is available, Apple displays the offer terms before purchase. Unless cancelled through your Apple Account subscription settings before the trial or offer ends, the subscription automatically renews at the displayed renewal price for the displayed billing period and continues renewing until cancelled.

Apple administers billing and refunds for Apple In-App Purchase transactions. Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases should be made through Apple Support or the App Store purchase history flow, subject always to applicable consumer rights.

Use restore purchases in the app if paid access does not appear on a device where you expect it. For entitlement support, contact us with the transaction date and product name, but do not send full payment-card details.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Hunch to break the law, harm others, infringe rights, distribute malware, bypass security, overload systems, scrape the service, manipulate reviews, or send spam.
• Do not submit secrets, payment-card details, health records, passwords, or third-party confidential information unless a feature expressly asks for it and you are authorised to provide it.
• Do not reverse engineer, copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or use Hunch to build a competing product except where the law permits despite this restriction.

Changes and availability

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device, preservation of local data, or that every posture estimate will be accurate for every body, desk, device, or environment.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to non-excludable rights, Hunch is provided on an as available basis. We are not responsible for loss caused by unsupported devices, changed platform behaviour, unavailable third-party services, or use of Hunch for medical, emergency, or safety-critical decisions.
